brief information;

• name: Roxas (aka the Key of Destiny, number XIII in the Organization)

• fandom; Kingdom Hearts II

• version; Pre-Kingdom Hearts II; with Xemnas erasing Roxas' memory, he has returned to his belief that he is still a member of the Organization.

• age; Based on physical appearance, 15, but technically less than a year, if going by when he was "born" as a Nobody.

• gender; Male

• sexuality; Having been a part of a group that was made up of the male gender, Larxene aside, they are pretty much all he knows, so perhaps he could be considered at least bisexual. However, he has shown little to no interest in sex, relationships, or even people thus far, save for perhaps Axel, who he would spend the majority of his time with.

With his importance to the Organization, he cannot let himself give in to any urges he might develop (he still technically has hormones, so it’s not completely unlikely), because really, the main reason he is there in the first place is because of his ability to wield the keyblade, and he can help the other Nobodies get closer to attaining what they are so desperately searching for. And if he can't devote all of his time and energy into releasing hearts, well, that just won't do, will it?

appearance;

As Roxas is a member of the Organization, they are all provided with a uniform of sorts. It consists of a long, black leather jacket that usually reaches about mid-shin (but since Roxas is the shortest member, his just barely skims the floor), adorned with chains that serve as the drawstrings for the hood. He also wears a pair of black pants beneath this, as well as matching black leather boots and gloves.

Organization garb aside, Roxas has a mop of rather unruly blond hair that spikes up in all directions, although it is definitely not as spiky as Sora’s. It appears to defy gravity, and many believe that he uses product to get it to hold, but rarely does he ever take the time to style his hair. After all, he isn’t there to look pretty—he’s there to kill heartless, and to gain the heart he never had. He also has bright blue eyes, bluer than Sora’s, but they lack that same youthful innocence that his Other has.

personality;

Roxas has a sharp tongue, and is rather cynical when it comes to his outlook on life (what life? He’s just a Nobody). He can be rather reckless, and has a tendency to act without thinking things through. This might attest to his boyish curiosity and restlessness.

It is difficult for Roxas to sit still, and so he often grows bored with things rather quickly, and would prefer to move onto something new or different. He likes learning about new things, since he did not carry over any memories of his life as a Somebody, and thus everything he now knows, he has learned from the Organization. And since he only knows what the Organization has chose to teach him, his knowledge is quite limited (which proves to be quite a nuisance when he arrives at Paixao, and discovers just how little he truly knows, and that there is knowledge to be gained from beings besides the twelve comrades of his).

He is also rather selfish, and if he is not doing things for the sake of the Organization, he is doing things for himself. Yet, in a sense, everything he does is for himself—he is carrying out every task given to him in hopes that he will soon have a heart, that he will no longer be just a Nobody. He wants to be a Somebody, and so he will continue to do whatever it takes until he can achieve whatever it is that he has set his sights on, be it as life-altering as getting a heart, or something as miniscule as finding that pair of pants he’d lost a week ago (after all, they’d cost him quite a bit of munny!).

weapons/abilities;

Roxas controls the element of light, as well as the Samurai nobodies. More importantly, however, are the pair of keyblades that Roxas possesses. Unlike the single keyblade that his counterpart wields, he has two, and can therefore inflict more damage in less time. While he isn't nearly as quick on his feet as, say, Larxene, he makes up for it by how handy he is with his weapons, and how naturally it comes to handle them—after all, he is a keyblade master.

Another thing that all the Organization members possess, not a weapon, though handy, is the ability to open portals, allowing Roxas to teleport from one place to another in almost an instant. It is, by far, more convenient than traveling by foot (or possibly horse, if one was so inclined), and keeps him from wasting his energy. That’s not to say that opening portals does not require energy—it does. So long as he does not take advantage of this gift, he needn’t worry about exhausting himself.

weaknesses;

Roxas is still rather young, and so he can appear quite naïve when it comes to many topics (such as sex, or calculus). However, if he discovers something of which he cannot understand, Roxas will take it upon himself to learn about the topic, even if it can get him in trouble every once in a while.

He also happens to have a rather short fuse, and so he is quick to anger; because of this, he has a habit of acting without thinking, with no regards for a possible consequence. Like when he first leaves the Organization. They’ll destroy him? Ha! He’s the keyblade master, he’s untouchable. At least, that is until Larxene finds him and Xemnas erases his memory. Who’s untouchable now?

He can also come off as extremely cocky. He is the keyblade master, and the Organization needs him (at least, that's how he would prefer to imagine it). But he’s better than them; he’s still somehow connected to his heart, and he wants so desperately to find it, to become whole.

history;

Roxas was born when Sora used Riku’s keyblade to free Kairi’s heart, and happened to lose his own in the process. As this takes place not all that far away from the incidents in Castle Oblivion, he can’t have been existence for a very long time, and thus has little room for any sort of “history.”

However, he had been at Paixao for some time, roaming the lands, until he’d come in contact with Larxene, and was promptly kidnapped. After a meeting with his Superior, he has all of his memories erased, and he is back to square one, where it is as though he is a fresh, new member of the Organization, and he has just arrived at Paixao.
